Fabric OMG fabric!
Yards and yards and yards! Joy!

Let's see if I can make any order of all this...

1 silk robe, undyed- 2.5 yards
1 silk robe, dyed moss green (osage orange + iron)- 2.5 yards
1 silk robe, dyed blue-green to yellow-green- 3 yards

1 hemp/cotton robe, dyed golden yellow (turmeric + soda ash)- 2.75 yards
1 hemp/cotton robe, dyed vaguely brown (juniper berries + soda ash)- 2.5 yards
1 hemp/cotton robe, dyed (hopefully) lavender (elderberries + alum)- 2.75 yards

Tomorrow is to go crazy with sewing. Yiss.

Are you going to be heading up to MDRF at any point? If so, let me know. I'm planning to get there at least once.

*sigh*

I'd planned to. But with no jobs and so little money left, I don't think we can. Seriously. Broke. :(

I wish I could go. I'll have to wait till next year.

You keep reminding me of all the wool/hemp yarn I bought that I want to dye - I even bought more dyes recently. Now I just have to take the time to get all the yarn in hanks.

Oh man. Check out Aurora Silk and look at those colors. That burgundy skein at the top is to lust. And the copper stuff to the right? Whoa. If I could knit, I would so be doing that.

Also indigo. I'd love to do indigo, but it's not as practical for a large amount of fabric.

Yay! I bought some logwood shavings, which are supposed to make violets and purples and charcoal. And osage orange, which makes soft green with an iron mordant. I'm looking forward to using these. :)
