The Miami Herald reports "glitches" occurring in touch-screen voting machines. There are similar glitches taking place in Texas. These glitches consistently switch Democratic votes to Republican, but not the reverse.

If you're voting on a touch-screen machine next week, here are some resources for you.

Video The Vote

Video The Vote is my favorite idea. If you have a cameraphone or a small videocamera, take it in a bag into the booth with you. If you don't get a paper trail, at least there's some sort of evidence.

Thanks for the info on Texas.

I had just finished a post about the Florida difficulties, and appended some of your info to the post (it should syndicate in about 5 minutes).

I can't get the "Video Your Vote" site to open up. I'm at work, though, so maybe it's blocked or something.

No, I did it wrong. I'll fix it in a second.

Besides, you have nothing to worry about. Yay NC for decertifying Diebold machines!
