Limbo is fuzzy
My schedule(s) at work are all over the place. I'm not under contract anymore, I'm hourly, so I can work up to 40 hours at both places. This is complicated by the fact that the semester is almost over, library hours are shortening for intersession, and there are random holiday closings. (Dec. 22? Seriously?)

I've worked out a decent schedule for next semester, but until that begins, I'm going to be flailing around trying to figure out what's going on. I keep going over my Google calendar (which is the first PDA I've ever actually used regularly) and trying to get the feel of what's happening, and it's just confusing.

I want the holidays to be over. Grar.

I think that next time we go see the inlaws, I'm going to get The Pierced And Tattooed One to redo my conch piercing. This time I'll use a titanium barbell, and the healing process should go much better.

First, the Mother In Law. Whom I love. Seriously, she's awesome. She treats me like a member of the family, not like OMG TAHT BITCH WHO TOOK AWAY MY BABY. Also, she usually takes my side against Rob. Hee. :)

Second, The Quiet One. He's the oldest, never married, very into movies. Dorky but nice.

Third, The Runner. She's a firecracker, and the only one (besides us) who doesn't live in Milwaukee. She's married to The Surfer. The Runner is an amazing person-- she survived Hodgkin's as a kid, and when she got older developed breast cancer from the radiation. She's well into remission, and runs marathons. Yow.

Fourth, The Normal One. He's not married, and shares custody of The Normal Kid with his ex. He and The Quiet One share a house.

Fifth, The Potter. She makes pots, and has a pottery store that is actually successful. She's married to The Guitarist, who has a normal day job, but is also a classical guitarist. Their kids are The Smart One and The Baby.

Sixth, The Pierced And Tattooed One, who used to own a piercing/tattoo store. She's married to The Pierced And Tattooed Husband, who has a construction company. Their children are The Diva and The Crybaby. (Harsh, I know. But seriously, he cries a lot.)

The Smart One and The Diva were the flower girls at our wedding. The Normal Kid was the ringbearer, who gave in gracefully despite his objections.

Yay. I like my inlaws. :)

Should I get a myspace page so I can list a musician (whom I have a little bit of a crush on) as a friend? I think I'm going to. Lord help me.

I feel: happyhappy

Aha! Not "the marrying kind," eh? :)

:P As far as I'm aware, he's straight. Just not so great with the social skills. He's a very nice man, you just have to understand him.

Oh. I'm sure. Male, approaching middle age, single, living with another man (*points to icon*). I get it. :)

That's his BROTHER, dude.

That's why they have to pretend to be straight! And that's what makes it hotter, too.
