Why I Should Not Be Allowed On The Net When I Am Upset:

I came this >< close to buying a ticket on Priceline to San Francisco.

Hey, it's got nice weather, there's sourdough bread, and I can wander the streets feeling melancholy. Or ride a streetcar feeling melancholy. I'm not sure how melancholy one can be on a happy little streetcar, but hey, it's easier than walking up those hills. :)

Luckily, they didn't take my price. Whew. I could just see me racing to throw things in a bag and heading out for the airport on no sleep.

If I ever do go crazy enough to buy a last-minute ticket to SF, can anyone put me up? Or do I have to get a hotel?

*contemplates going to Prague*

No. I will go to IHOP and have chocolate chocolate chip pancakes.

I've got you covered in Michigan. Sure WISH it was SF. But I CAN help with the sourdough. *hugs*

I'm about 30 minutes AWAY from SF, in the Summer, but if you need it, I got you.

We have an extraordinarily uncomfortable futon sofa in the living room. If you were to suddenly show up for a couple of days (before Baby Arrival) you would be welcome to it. ;)

Also, it's been horribly chilly and cloudy here all summer, so factor that into your calculations.

No, but if you are ever in Orange County, CA again and need a place to crash, I'm sure one of us could find something... :)

If you decide it would be good for you for me to fly down and keep you company sometime, let me know. Even though my handy last minute airline folded, these things can be arranged.
