My awesome sewing machine that I love developed a problem a couple weeks ago, so I took it in to be fixed. (Still under warranty, yay.) I borrowed my mom's while that one's in the shop. My mom's machine sucks. And tonight it broke.

I have all these things pinned and ready to go into the machine (and no I will NOT handsew them. Handsewing knit fabric guarantees disaster.) JoAnn's is closed, so I can't go there and find the part that needs fixing.

Wal-Mart is open 24 hours. I could go there and buy a new (cheap) machine. However, that would mean violating my ban on Wal-Mart, and it would also mean that I'd be getting a machine that sucks is not nearly up to the standards of my awesome sewing machine that I love.

It'd be nice to have a portable machine. Even one that sucks isn't as good as my good machine. But should I go to the dreaded Wal-Mart to buy it, when I could get one at JoAnn's if I wait till tomorrow, or just have patience and wait till my good machine comes back?

Dammit. I wanted to get this stuff sewn. DAMMIT.
