I have cut, sewn, pressed, and clipped until my eyes are about ready to fall out of my head, and my back feels like it's breaking in half.

The quilt is not-quite-halfway quilted. Today I finish quilting and then bind it. Binding takes much longer than it sounds. I'm crossing my fingers that I'll be done by evening. I have to finish this today-- I work tomorrow, we're going out for dinner tomorrow night, I work Tuesday, and Tuesday night is the shower. Today is it.

Man, I feel crummy.

Rather than suffer Death By Quilting, if need be, can you tote along a picture of the work in progress, and perhaps a square from it? You could tuck those in a card, with your good wishes and a promise that this lovely item will be completed soon!

It's actually not a block-based quilt. This is the first quilt I've designed all myself. It's abstract with a Sesame Street feel. :)

I love quilts. Yes, yes I do. Oh, and that was a good suggestion, but I've finally finished, so yay! All done!

Woo Hoo! It sounds cute, and I'm glad you finished it and are still alive!
