Yeah, it's a meme. Skip it if you don't want to be bothered.
Leave a comment, and I'll:

1) Tell you why I friended you
2) Associate you with a song/movie
3) Tell a random fact about you
4) Tell a first memory about you
5) Associate you with an animal/fruit
6) Ask something I've always wanted to know about you
7) Show you my favorite user pic of yours
8) In return, you MUST spread this disease in your LJ

#8 doesn't really apply. Spread if you want. (heh.)
I can hear: Stone Sour, "Cardiff"

Calm down, bouncy girl. :)

1) Because of the Blue Day, natch, but I kept you friended because you are very interesting. I want to be like you.

2) They tried to kill him with a forklift! (Ole!)

3) You and your dehydrator are in luuuuurve.

4) Realizing that I probably knew you back in the RATMM days, and I just forgot.

5) Caribou!

6) How much land do you own, and what crops do you grow?

That's one of my favorite shorts. "I HAVE NO SON."

Amazingly enough, I don't own any land! We've been renting Casa de Caribou for almost ten years now. Our landlords are MSU employess, and also friends, and they let us do anything we like with the yard, which is about two acres. Mostly grass. But we have carved lots of flower gardens into the yard, and have a 50' x 40' (approx, it's L shaped) fenced in veggie garden. There's permanent raspberry and strawberry patches inside that fenced garden, and yarrow or sage grows at each corner. Everything else changes on a whim each year. But we usually grow roma tomatoes, green beans, radishes, lettuce, green onions, spinach, garlic. basil, carrots and zucchini. Other things vary depending on what we are in the mood for!

I also have a small herb garden up by the house, with chives, sage, lavendar, lemon thyme, and lots of tulip bulbs for early Spring surprises.

Hee! I love that you picked that icon. I don't use it much but I adore it.
