We can dance if we want to
Everybody look at your hands!

It's late, and I'm listening to the final song on my 80s playlist, which is over 7 hours long. Awesome.

I applied for another job online tonight. Public reference librarian, next county over. Hey, it's a job, and though the pay isn't stellar, it's one I can do well, and be reasonably happy in. Also found another couple of jobs to apply for which, if I get past the screening, I can hopefully sweet-talk into considering me despite the fact I have no experience as such in those fields (junior editor of a magazine, and something else that I can't remember what it is, but is related somehow to writing.)

I just corrected a typo. I'm like Walter that way. 4:30, and I won't let a typo go.

Would anyone on my flist like a music post of lesser-known 80s music? Stuff that's not "Whip It" or "Come On Eileen" or "Heart of Glass"? I've been finding some good shit that I want to share.
I can hear: Men Without Hats, "Safety Dance"

Eeeee, T'Pau! I have that album! I need to rip all the songs from it. I have "Tarzan Boy," and I have "China in Your Hands" by T'Pau on my playlist.

You'll probably be familiar with the stuff I put up. But that doesn't mean it's not lesser-known. :)

I was in my early college days when the T'Pau album came out. I loved it. I had it on cassette and played it constantly on endless repeat on my Walkman. I used to sit in the lab programming for hours and hours listening to just that one album. My friends got tired up it just from the sound bleeding through from the headphones. :)

I graduated high school in 1986, so I'm a real 80s boy.
