Happy birthday, Saffie!
We got Saffie on March 1st, when she was 10 months old. Therefore, I decreed that her birthday was May 1, International Workers Day. Power to the people! And the pitbulls!

In her honor, I bring you... userinfocereselle

(to get your own, go here.)

I am at work, despite splitting headache and general unwellness-feeling. Not cool to call in sick on the second week. And I'm not that sick, anyway.

Despite sickness, Rob and I went out on Saturday to see a guy I found on Craigslist. He had many many used bikes for sale. Rob and I each got hybrid bikes. Mine is a Trek that needs new inner tubes. It was $50. Rob's is a Diamondback that is in good working order, just needs some lube. His was $75. Oh yeah, mine has a gel seat too. Damn good prices. And now we have bikes! I plan to use mine for errands around our little town. We can easily get to a hardware store, a produce stand, 7-11, and a standard grocery store on bikes. V. exciting. My hope is that I will get in good enough shape to start biking to work a couple days a week. Whenever I get a real job.

Oh, there you are! Yes, at work. Gotcha!

Bikes! I need to get a new one. I have a "city bike," which has fatter tires, than a normal bike, but not quite fat enough for a mountain bike...and I really, really want to start mountain biking again, here.

I love that you can ride around town and do all of your errands by bike. I hated not living in a city (even a small city like the one we're moving to next month)...you can get out of shape so quickly if you're not at the gym every day...just driving everywhere. Urgh!

I hope you're feeling better soon!
