Things I Hate

1. Companies with nondescript names, so that not only can I not tell what they do, they bring up a million hits in the database, every one of which I have to check through.

2. Companies that use a misspelled word as their name in order to look hip. Like "Cinergy" or "Qwest."

3. Being sick for a WEEK and still not feeling better.

4. Not being able to enjoy evenings and weekends at home because of #3.

Things I Love

1. James. The band. They did a lot more than "Laid." I'm listening to "Strip-Mine," which I haven't listened to in many years, and it's making today bearable. Any album that starts with a bouncy upbeat song that goes:

Today I won't think of any sad things,
Will not think of torture, or the rape of nature...

is a good album.

2. I'm leaving at 4 today so I can get some more rest. Thanks to working an extra half hour earlier this week, and skipping lunch today, I can do that without feeling guilty.
I feel: crazycrazy
I can hear: James, "Medieval"

Y'know, whenever I hear 'Laid', which isn't very often, I think of you. I don't know why that association is there, but it is.

1 - you can expand that to products, movie titles, software, etc. that are based on real words. Like I've been playing "Oblivion" on the PC. You can safely assume that a search for "Oblivion" gives multiple hits.
