I did make it home last night, by driving VERY CAREFULLY. 7-11 wouldn't take a check without ID. I refrained from braining the clerk, much as I wanted to, because technically the policy wasn't her fault, but I think in an emergency it should be waived. I had my work ID badge, which has my picture, but because it wasn't state-issued, she wouldn't take it. Gah. Anyway, I got back, and even made it to the gas station this morning to fill up. So all is well, gasoline-wise.

I am furious at a lot of things. Furious at the dreadful traffic today, which made me almost an hour late for work. Furious at the dreadful traffic at 4 pm on my way home. 4 pm, people! Rush hour in Orlando should not begin until 4:45! Furious at my hairdresser, who was the reason I left early and was stressing about the traffic, because she went home sick and didn't call me, so the hour and a half I missed getting paid for was for nothing. Furious with a certain person who WILL NOT LOOK FOR A JOB OR EVEN A TEMP JOB FOR GOD'S SAKE.

There are other sides to all of this, of course. My hairdresser was sick; I can't blame her for that. Rob cleaned the filthy kitchen and made a delicious and nutritious dinner for me tonight.

I am also incredibly tired, because I upped my RLS drug a little. It wasn't working that well at 1 mg, so I'm taking 1.25 mg for the moment. I see the doctor in 2.5 weeks, when I hope there will be a major drug change.

I'm going to bed at 9 tonight. Maybe earlier. There's nothing to do, my Civ game is going badly, nothing to watch or read, and I'm tired. Yeah, I think it's bedtime now.
